OUR STORY
American Foundation Academy — School of Science and Technology (AFASST) was established as a natural extension of the American Foundation Academy (AFA), a 501(C) registered nonprofit organisation in the United States dedicated to transforming lives through education.
Having built a thriving nursery and primary school in Cameroon, AFA’s founders recognised a critical gap: the students they had nurtured with such care needed a secondary school environment that would continue to challenge, inspire, and equip them for the world. AFASST was born out of that conviction — that every young Cameroonian deserves access to high-quality, internationally benchmarked secondary education right here at home.
Located in Bonaberi – Douala, Cameroon, AFASST is now a beacon of academic excellence in the region, drawing students from across the country who are hungry for a rigorous, future-focused education.
